Plants and Animal Count in the GrasslandsThe Grasslands have a bunch of huge animals imigrating from one place to another although there is rarely any plants like roses,sunflowers,and others. One thing that Grasslands do have though is long grass that looks burnt and is a burnt yellow orange color becuase of the heat there. The reason why there is a bunch a big animals like jaguars is becuase the Grasslands are big wide open deserts with plenty of space for big animals. Sometimes not only do you see adult animals in a big safari, you may see animals like cubs. But I know what you're asking. Why do little animals like this be in a safari? Well, they are not alone. They stay with the pack or they are left in some type of defensive barricade when their mother hunts for food. Plants are really hard to destroy. Since there are big animals trying to kill the plants, there are also big plants. Plants like the cactus have defense to protect the water that they collect from the rain. Their defence is pricks. The Grasslands is so dry becauase there is barely any rain there at all. The highest amount of rain that lands in the Grasslands each year is about 12cm. But they have little ponds and such that animals can drink out of thats how they survive in the dry Grasslands.
